Felix Rosenqvist is looking to get his 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES charge properly off the ground this weekend as the championship heads to Barber Motorsports Park for the first road course event of the season.
Following three challenging races to start off the new campaign – including a frustrating late penalty that dropped him from sixth to 20th last time out in Arlington – Rosenqvist is determined to bounce back as attention turns to round four.
Coming up this weekend is the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix, staged in the picturesque parkland setting of Barber Motorsports Park – a long-serving favourite for fans and drivers alike.
“I’m excited for the first road course of the season,” says Felix Rosenqvist. “Barber was one of the main circuits I needed to improve on from last year, so we’ve spent a lot of time and effort preparing specifically for this race. After a pretty mediocre start to the season, below the standards I set myself, I’m very motivated to return up front with some fresh energy!”
The Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix takes place on Sunday, running for 90 laps. Practice begins on Friday, with qualifying slated for Saturday.
