Felix Rosenqvist will run with two different teams at this week’s official GP2 post-season test in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).
Having confirmed his participation in the test last week, Rosenqvist has now firmed up his schedule for the coming days at Yas Marina Circuit, and is set to conduct running on two of the test’s three days.
The FIA Formula 3 European Champion will get his maiden GP2 run with Status Grand Prix as the test kicks off on Wednesday (2 December), and will then move across to his regular F3 team Prema for the following day. Rosenqvist will not run on the final day.
“I can’t wait to get out on track for my first GP2 test,” says Felix Rosenqvist. “I’ve been hanging around the paddock over the weekend and I’ve really picked up a craving to drive. I’m looking forward to working with Status Grand Prix on Wednesday, and then with Prema a day later. It will be a great week, for sure.”
Felix Rosenqvist won the prestigious Macau Grand Prix for a second time earlier this month, driving for Status Grand Prix owner Teddy Yip’s sister squad Theodore Racing in a link-up with Prema.
