Felix Rosenqvist heads to one of his strongest suits on the NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule this weekend as the Grand Prix of Portland kicks off a season-ending run of races.
The 2025 campaign draws to a close with three weekends of racing in August, taking in the up-coming round in Portland as well as a pair of oval events at Milwaukee and Nashville to round out the season.
Portland International Raceway marks a strong opportunity for Rosenqvist to bounce back from the disappointment last time out at Laguna Seca, where the Swede showed rapid pace throughout the weekend but was taken out of contention in a first-lap clash.
Rosenqvist has two previous podium finishes at Portland International Raceway – the last road course venue of the year – and hopes to add additional silverware to his collection after finishing second at the Oregon event in both 2019 and 2023.
“We’re headed back to the west coast, and I’m really excited,” says Felix Rosenqvist. “Portland is a super cool track, and I really want a win there after being close a couple of times. It’s the last road course of the season, so let’s make it a good one.”
Rosenqvist begins the final stretch of races holding sixth in the INDYCAR standings, on course to score Meyer Shank Racing’s first-ever top ten championship finish.
The Grand Prix of Portland begins with opening practice on Friday. Saturday takes in another pair of practice sessions, sandwiching the all-important qualifying showdown.
The race takes place on Sunday and spans 110 laps.
Rosenqvist’s #60 Meyer Shank Racing Honda will once again sport the same Greatful Dead-inspired livery as in Laguna Seca this weekend.
