Felix Rosenqvist will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing race in St. Louis as the NTT INDYCAR SERIES reaches its halfway mark this weekend with the XPEL Grand Prix at Road America.
Marking round nine out of 17, the visit to Wisconsin’s famed speed park will see the field move into the second half of the 2025 season.
It also scripts a good opportunity for Rosenqvist to retaliate after a 16th place finish last Sunday in the Bommarito Automotive Group 500, which saw the Meyer Shank Racing driver battle back from two laps down after a trio of penalties.
The site of Rosenqvist’s sole INDYCAR win back in 2020, Road America holds a special place on the Swede’s CV – and topping it up with another drive to Victory Lane would mean a lot as Rosenqvist continues to chase his first triumph with Ohio-based MSR.
“I’m happy to get a chance to redeem ourselves quickly after a disappointing night in St. Louis,” says Felix Rosenqvist. ”Road America is a track that we all enjoy going to and it’s definitely a highlight of the year. I had my first INDYCAR win there many years ago and I’m hungry for another one. It’s been too long!”
Rosenqvist moves into the XPEL Grand Prix at Road America sitting sixth in the championship standings. The event begins on Friday with opening practice, followed by a second practice session on Saturday morning leading up to qualifying in the afternoon.
The race itself takes place on Sunday, spanning 55 laps around the four-mile (6,5 km) layout – the longest track on the calendar.
