Felix will make his second appearance in the new-for-2014 FA1 single-seater championship as he rejoins Team Sweden in the nation-based series for this weekend’s up-coming races at Monza.
Felix sealed the Swedish operation’s first and hitherto only podium as the championship sprung to life at Portimão, Portugal, back in April, and will now return to the cockpit of the blue-and-yellow 550-bhp machine as the FA1 fraternity heads to Italy for round four of the season. [star_list]

“It will be great to return to FA1 and Team Sweden this weekend,” says Felix. “Portimão was a very valuable experience for me, and I think Monza will suit these powerful cars very well. Everyone will have to run maximum downforce throughout the event, which should create a whole new, exciting kind of racing at a circuit where you normally carry as little wing as you possibly can. I really look forward to it, and I travel to Italy with the ambition of fighting for Team Sweden’s first win!”
As was the case in Portugal, the competition at Monza will feature the experienced Nigel Melker (Team Netherlands) and FA1 championship leader and home favourite Mirko Bortolotti (Team Italy). Each FA1 event comprises two races; one 30-minute “sprint” on the Saturday, and a 45-minute finale on the Sunday. Pit stops are mandatory for both races.
