Felix Rosenqvist scored his first podium of the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES with a commanding drive to second place in Sunday\u2019s XPEL Grand Prix at Road America.<\/strong>

Pocketing both his own and Meyer Shank Racing\u2019s first rostrum result of the season, Rosenqvist put on a blistering drive as he recovered from a qualifying mistake that left him 12th\u00a0on the grid, underscoring his pace by setting the fastest lap of the race on the final tour as he tried to chase down eventual winner Alex Palou.

The result continues Rosenqvist\u2019s love affair with Wisconsin\u2019s Road America circuit, where he scored his breakthrough maiden INDYCAR win in 2020.

We\u2019ve been waiting for this podium, and this is a great day for us,\u201d\u00a0says Felix Rosenqvist<\/strong>. \u201cWe knew we had some serious pace here, which is why I was especially disappointed with my mistake in qualifying yesterday. Finishing second after starting 12th\u00a0proves the speed was there \u2013 the Sirius XM Honda was just phenomenal.

\u201cWe had some bad luck the last two races, and I think we deserved this today. It\u2019s a good comeback, a great effort by everyone at MSR in a challenging, hot race. The outcome marks Rosenqvist\u2019s first official INDYCAR championship-race podium since joining Meyer Shank Racing in 2024, not including last year\u2019s non-points event at The Thermal Club where he finished third.\u00a0

It sees the Swede return to the official INDYCAR podium for the first time since the 2023 Grand Prix of Portland.

With nine of 17 races now completed, Rosenqvist moves up to fourth in the overall standings at the halfway mark of the season. Next up, fittingly after both cars finished in the top five on Sunday, is Meyer Shank Racing\u2019s home race at Mid-Ohio on July 4-6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
