Announcement – Rolex 24 at Daytona<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Felix Rosenqvist will join a trio of Rolex 24 at Daytona winners in a star-studded line-up for Acura Meyer Shank Racing (\u201cAcura MSR\u201d) in America\u2019s most prestigious endurance race this coming January.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set to make his fourth start in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season-opener, the 2025 edition will mark a new level for Rosenqvist as he enters the top-tier GTP class for the first time in the Florida classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He does so with an abundance of race-winning pedigree to draw from, teaming up with full-season Acura MSR IMSA drivers Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun, as well as six-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Scott Dixon, aboard the team\u2019s #60 Acura MSR Acura ARX-06.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blomqvist and Braun won the Rolex 24 outright for Meyer Shank Racing in 2023, while Dixon has three overall wins to his tally in 2006, 2015 and 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daytona will mark the first-ever race in IMSA GTP prototype machinery for Rosenqvist, whose main programme is in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES with Meyer Shank Racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a dream come true for me to race at the Rolex 24 in the top category,\u201d says Felix Rosenqvist<\/strong>. \u201cIt\u2019s a very natural fit as I\u2019m racing for the same team and manufacturer as in my \u2018daytime job,\u2019 and I know all my team-mates really well. It\u2019s a big project and I\u2019m doing my best to be as prepared as possible. I\u2019m looking forward to getting going in January!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside the #60 entry, Acura Meyer Shank Racing is also fielding a second car (#93) at Daytona for Renger van der Zande, Nick Yelloly, Alex Palou and a fourth driver yet to be confirmed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really great to see how our IMSA line-up has come together, and I think we have some really talented drivers with us this year,\u201d says Acura MSR co-owner Mike Shank<\/strong>. \u201cOf course, it just made sense for Felix to join us at the 24. He\u2019s really proved himself on the INDYCAR side of things and I think he can be a big asset to us in IMSA. I\u2019m excited to see where we shake out in the test this weekend; I think we\u2019re all ready to get going.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Acura Meyer Shank Racing squad will head to its first official test at Daytona International Speedway this weekend (November 15-17) as initial preparations for the Rolex 24 begin in earnest.
