Felix Rosenqvist is looking to bow out with a frontrunning performance as the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES draws to a close this weekend with the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Superspeedway.<\/strong>
 
About to complete his first season with the Meyer Shank Racing team, Rosenqvist can look back at a largely promising year of transition aboard the #60 MSR Honda, and is keen to end on a fitting note in the season-finale.
 
While INDYCAR returns to the D-shaped, 1.33-mile Nashville Superspeedway for the first time since 2008, the Tennessee oval is a completely new acquaintance for Rosenqvist \u2013 but the Swede is adamant that won\u2019t detract from his high-held ambitions.
 
\u201cIt\u2019s incredible how quickly a season goes by, and here we are at the grand finale,\u201d says Felix Rosenqvist<\/strong>. \u201cI have never turned a lap at Nashville Superspeedway, while several of the others tested there earlier this year, but to be honest that really shouldn\u2019t be too much of an issue. I have plenty of experience by now and I feel well-prepared to go out and fight for that final win.\u201d <\/em>
 
Boosting his presence as the campaign concludes, Rosenqvist will be sporting a new livery this weekend featuring Diplo\u2019s Revolution, the SiriusXM channel of multiple Grammy Award-winning artist Diplo (who also will DJ the pre-race driver introductions on Sunday).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rosenqvist enters the championship finale sitting 12th\u00a0in the overall standings, with an outside chance of making the top ten.\u00a0

\u201cI\u2019m really excited,\u201d\u00a0Felix Rosenqvist concludes<\/strong>. \u201cWe\u2019ve got good pace in the car, another cool collaboration with SiriusXM \u2013 in Music City of all places \u2013 and a lot of motivation to end on a high. Nothing really to lose either, so we\u2019ll just have to keep an eye out for the weather which looks like it could be a bit unsettled.

The Big Machine Music City Grand Prix is scheduled to get underway with practice and qualifying on Saturday. The 206-lap race is slated for a 2:30 pm start local time (U.S. Central) on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
