Felix Rosenqvist is looking to bounce back fast after retiring from the Indianapolis 500 last Sunday, returning to the track at the Detroit Grand Prix this weekend.<\/strong>
 
With NTT INDYCAR SERIES competition resuming hot off the Month of May spectacle, Rosenqvist eyes a fresh reset as attention turns from the high-speed banks of Indianapolis Motor Speedway to one of the season\u2019s tightest street tracks.
 
Rosenqvist arrives in Detroit with fond memories from last year\u2019s Michigan event, where he finished on the podium, and is hoping to build on a strong start to the 2024 campaign with new team Meyer Shank Racing.
 
Highlights so far this season include a pole position, MSR\u2019s first-ever in INDYCAR racing, at last month\u2019s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach \u2013 the most recent street course event on the schedule. Rosenqvist also qualified on the front row of the grid at the season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, another city-centre venue.
 
\u201cI\u2019m feeling good to go again,\u201d says Felix Rosenqvist<\/strong>. \u201cOur race in Indianapolis turned out quite a bit shorter than we\u2019d hoped, so I\u2019ve got some energy saved up for Detroit! I went well there last year, taking a podium, and we have had some really strong performances on the previous street courses this year. We haven\u2019t wrapped it up fully in the races yet for various reasons, but the pace is there. All things lining up, I think we\u2019re in with a good opportunity this weekend.\u201d<\/em>
 
The Detroit Grand Prix gets underway with opening practice on Friday. Following a second practice session on Saturday morning, the attention turns to qualifying in the afternoon, and then to the race itself on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
