Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (USA)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Felix Rosenqvist will be hoping to build on a strong start to the season as the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES resumes with the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach this weekend.<\/strong>

Rosenqvist has enjoyed a convincing start to life with new team Meyer Shank Racing, setting a new lap record in the\u00a0opening round at St. Petersburg<\/a>\u00a0and taking a P7 finish on the Florida street course.\u00a0

He also delivered MSR\u2019s first-ever INDYCAR pole in qualifying for the subsequent non-championship\u00a0$1 Million Challenge<\/a>\u00a0at The Thermal Club, converting the effort into a podium finish.

As normality resumes in Long Beach with a return to regular points-paying racing, Rosenqvist is eager to keep the momentum going at the oceanside street course in Southern California.\u00a0

\u201cThe whole team has done really well to kick off the season strongly, and now we\u2019re finally back to a points-paying\u00a0round,\u00a0I feel like we are way more prepared than we were a month ago,\u201d\u00a0says Felix Rosenqvist<\/strong>.\u00a0\u201cWe trust that we have a good package for Long Beach and have every chance to continue our strong form there.\u201d<\/em>

Rosenqvist\u00a0\u2013\u00a0who qualified on the front row of the grid in both St. Pete and Thermal \u2013 has shown strong pace in Long Beach on previous visits, booking slots in the final Fast 6 qualifying segment twice in the past three years. He finished seventh in last season\u2019s race.

Marking the second official round of the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES, the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach begins with opening practice on Friday. Running then resumes on Saturday with a second practice session and qualifying. The 85-lap race is scheduled to go green at 12:45 pm local time (U.S. Pacific) on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
