Felix Rosenqvist is looking to carry his recent strong form into this weekend\u2019s NTT INDYCAR SERIES round at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course \u2013 a venue at which the Swede is particularly keen for redemption. <\/strong>

Rosenqvist\u2019s relationship with the 2.258-mile road course, laid out in the countryside near Lexington, Ohio, is turbulent. What started as a love affair \u2013 the track giving Rosenqvist both his first-ever INDYCAR test and podium result \u2013 has turned grimmer in recent years.

As a matter of fact, the 30-year-old was hit in analogous first-turn incidents just moments after the start in both 2020 and 2021, denying him any chance of a competitive result.

Thus, the Arrow McLaren SP driver will be keen to turn the Mid-Ohio tide around as he returns this weekend; especially arriving on the back of a strong four-race run of consecutive top ten finishes.
 
\u201cThe bottom line is I really like Mid-Ohio, and I\u2019ve always been quick around there in relation to my team-mates, but in the last two years it\u2019s just been unfortunate,\u201d says Felix Rosenqvist<\/strong>. \u201cThis time, I really hope to get past the first corner!

“We have several strong races in the bag now and I don\u2019t see any reason why we can\u2019t do even better. Qualifying will be important as overtaking is quite tricky here, but I think we have every opportunity. I\u2019m absolutely looking forward to the weekend.\u201d   <\/em>

Felix Rosenqvist currently sits eighth in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES standings going into this weekend\u2019s race, which takes place on Sunday and runs for 80 laps. Practice begins on Friday.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
