Felix Rosenqvist has been cleared to drive by the INDYCAR Medical Team and will return to his #7 Vuse Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet this weekend for the Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio.\u00a0<\/strong>

Rosenqvist underwent fresh medical checks on Tuesday morning\u00a0following his heavy accident in Race 1 of the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix on June 12.

Rosenqvist was forced to\u00a0miss two races in the wake of the accident, sitting out\u00a0Race 2 of the Detroit double-header\u00a0and the subsequent REV Group Grand Prix at Road America, but is now fit for return.

\u201cI’m thrilled to be back racing this weekend at Mid-Ohio,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>says Felix Rosenqvist<\/strong>. \u201cI have been so well taken care of after the accident and I would like to thank Dr. Billows and the entire INDYCAR Medical Team for their professionalism\u00a0in getting me back in racing shape. I am fully ready to get out there and push to the limit again, and\u00a0I really\u00a0can’t\u00a0wait!\u201d<\/em>

The Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio begins with practice on Friday, with the 80-lap race going green at noon on Sunday, July 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
