Staging the only double-header event of the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, the Milwaukee Mile will afford twice the fun this weekend as Felix Rosenqvist prepares for the final oval races of the campaign.
Coming off a hot streak of consecutive rounds in Portland, Markham and Washington, the field heads to Milwaukee for not just one, but two, further races this weekend.
Both will run to 250 laps, staged on Saturday and Sunday respectively at the historic one-mile track, and mark the final oval races of the year.
“Excited for the double-header coming up this weekend in Milwaukee,” says Felix Rosenqvist. “It’s essentially the most important weekend of the year in terms of points, with twice of them up for grabs. We have raised our oval game a lot this year, so I think we have a good shot.”
Rosenqvist’s oval stats in 2026 include winning the Indianapolis 500 and finishing fifth at the series’ most recent circle-track event in Nashville.
Running gets underway in Milwaukee with an opening practice session on Friday. Qualifying is staged on Saturday morning and will lock in the grid for both races of the weekend.
Race 1 is due to start later on Saturday while Race 2 will wrap up the event on Sunday afternoon.
Rosenqvist’s No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Honda will sport a livery this weekend featuring Grammy Award-winning country singer-songwriter Carly Pearce and SiriusXM’s The Highway (Ch. 56).
